Mrs Sherrod...Racist?

It leaves something to ponder. In the infamous video of Mrs Sherrod at an NAACP gathering, she did make some racist comments. There is no other way of looking at it. Now, the press is putting a vicious spin on this. Both CNN and FoxNews are working to get Mrs Sherrod's job returned to her. It needs to be considered that Mrs Sherrod is, if nothing else, two faced. She talks one way in front of the public and another in front of her fellow members of the NAACP.

The NAACP is not clean on this either. The NAACP was quick to throw Mrs Sherrod under the bus when the video broke. There is an issue of the NAACP holding together. Is the organization falling apart? Only time will tell.

The Blame Game

We have a new blame game being played in Washington, DC. The Democrats have decided that all the world's troubles can be blamed on George Bush and his administration. What a narrow and stupid point of view. The problems we have in this country are caused by greed. Greed from bankers wanting to make money at whatever inflated price they could sucker someone to pay. Greed from average citizen living beyond his means and wanting something they know they cannot support.

Nancy Pelosi, if you want to blame anyone, you need to look toward your constituents who bough houses they can't afford and your districts bankers who sold houses to people they knew could not pay the mortgage. I saw you on CSPAN blaming the Republicans for everything from the bad breathe to the oil spill in the Gulf. You need to wake up, stop the blame game and get on to solving the problems.

Happy Birthday America

There is little else to say. Remember our soldiers afield as they work through extraordinary difficulties. Pray for them and our wounded at home.

Wounded Warriors

There are hundreds of US soldiers coming home every day with injuries. Some are to the degree requiring surgery to fix knees and shoulders. Some, however, are catastrophic in nature. Pray for these soldiers that return for months or even years of rehabilitation accompanied by painful surgery. Never forget those who fight for our freedoms.

Shit happens...better pay attention to what you are doing.
