"Strategic Reserve" means an item stored up for use in dire need or emergency. If the Democrats want to use the strategic reserve to ease the fuel crunch, what are we going to use in emergencies? We may be paying out the butt for oil, but it has not reached emergency proportions. Not by a long shot. We need to open new areas outside the US and pull that oil. Leave the oil inside the US for what it is intended for reserve.

Another way to cripple the US military is to start using the strategic reserves. The reserves are primarily for the US Navy in time of war and the Democrats are fully aware of this. They claim they support our troops?
